SANTA announced that it has recently formed strategic partnerships with two key manufacturing bases in Southeast Asia—a major OEM/ODM food producer in Thailand and a processed-food manufacturer in Malaysia. Through these agreements, SANTA aims to secure a stable production infrastructure and develop products tailored to the characteristics of Southeast Asian markets.
The collaborations focus on:
Co-developing products optimized for local Southeast Asian culinary preferences
Enhancing production efficiency and price competitiveness
Establishing a foundation for expanding supply to the Philippines, Singapore, the Middle East, and other nearby regions
SANTA has been expanding partnerships with major Asian retailers, leveraging its experience working with SM, the largest retail group in the Philippines. These newly signed manufacturing agreements mark a strategic step toward strengthening SANTA’s supply chain stability and advancing its role as a “Global Basecamp for K-Food.”
A SANTA spokesperson stated,
“Diversifying production bases is a crucial step in ensuring the stable global distribution of Korean food products. Through our partnerships with manufacturers in Thailand and Malaysia, we have secured a production network that enhances both cost competitiveness and supply reliability.”
Industry observers view the agreements as
“a significant milestone in SANTA’s evolution from an export-focused company into a global food supply chain builder.”
